How many Saskatchewan national parks have reservable campsites?
Answer: A – Grasslands National Park and Prince Albert National Park will start taking reservations for camping in 2018 on January 12.
In both the East and West Block of Grasslands National Park, you can make reservations for equestrian, front-country camping, as well as book a stay in an oTENTik or tipi. Visitors are able to reserve backcountry camping in the West Block, however, backcountry camping registrations for the East Block must be made by phone.
An extra bonus, this year one oTENTik in each block is designated as pet friendly!
Prince Albert National Park will accept reservations on front-country camping and oTENTiks in Beaver Glen and Red Deer campgrounds. Visitors must register for backcountry camping at the visitor centre or the South Gate.
