The Blackstrap Provincial Park Trail system offers 15 km of trails designed for beginner to advanced mountain bikers, hikers and cross-country skiers, while the lake is ideal for canoeing activities. The hiking, cross-country skiing and mountain biking trails are natural terrain, pavement and gravel surfaced, set up in loops, allowing users to choose either a shorter or longer trail adventure. The trails accessed from Trail Head parking are groomed regularly for cross-country skiing.​
