“Golden Harvest” – Harvest is in full swing in South West Saskatchewan. Well… it was until it started raining a little while ago. I went out to Jag Farms near Leader Saskatchewan the other day to take some video of the harvest. I was treated to a great sunset and beautiful evening golden light. A few kilometres south of Blaine Lake, not far from the North Saskatchewan River, the light pollution of Saskatoon dissipates and on a cloud-free evening our living skies often come to life. So bright was the aurora’s glow, that reflections in the calm water was visible to the naked eye. My favorite park in the city in the fall. Reasons: 1. Pretty nice looks 2. Close proximity to several coffee shops for warm drinks to drink while kids play 3. Interesting people to meet 4. Feels New Yorky because you can pretend the Hotel Saskatchewan is the Plaza and you are in Central Park #seeyqr
