Echo Valley Provincial Park offers a wide variety of things to do during your visit.
Both Echo and Pasqua Lakes are known for their exceptional swimming, beaches and water recreation.
At Echo Beach, you will find a buoyed swimming area, a beautiful sandy beach, and a sun-dappled lawn area for picnicking. Picnic tables and barbecues are available. Much of the park's summer interpretive programming starts at Echo Beach.
Pasqua Beach offers a buoyed swimming area, a lovely beach, a beach volleyball area, a grassy picnicking space with barbecues and picnic tables. The restroom facilities at Pasqua Beach are barrier-free.
Echo Valley Provincial Park has two boat launches, one each to provide access to Echo and Pasqua lakes. Anglers will enjoy fishing for northern pike, walleye and perch on the lakes.
Cross-Country Ski and Bicycle Trails
Echo Valley Provincial Park offers 10 km of groomed and set cross-country ski trails. Two shelters with wood stoves and wood are provided. During the summer, the cross-country ski trails make for excellent biking trails.
The Nature Trail is a 3 km loop that takes about an hour to walk. The trailhead is accessible from near to the Hole in the Wall group camping area.
This trail takes you through shaded coulees, along the ridge of the valley and across grassy meadows.
Echo Valley Provincial Park offers activity packs that may be borrowed at no cost for a day. Check with the park staff for available kits.
