Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park is known for its beautiful lake, relaxing environment and excellent amenities.

Water Recreation

Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park offers exceptional water recreation, including swimming, fishing and boating.

Good Spirit Lake, the jewel of the park, features warm, shallow water and a sandy, weed-free bottom. The main beach offers a buoyed swimming area, a large picnic area, a beach volleyball court and a playground. 

A boat launch is located at the south end of the lake.

Good Spirit Lake is great for anglers, especially those looking for walleye and northern pike. 


Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park offers a number of trails for visitors to enjoy. 

Dune Discovery Interpretive Trail

Active sand dunes exists along Good Spirit Lake's south shore, and extend 8 km inland. The 3 km Dune Discovery trail takes you along the lake's shoreline and into the dunes. There are benches to rest along the way. 

Trans Canada Trail

Approximately 18 km of the Trans Canada Trail runs through the park. This trail is excellent for both hiking and biking, and lucky trail users may even catch a glimpse of moose, elk or deer.

Cross-Country Ski Trails

Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park features 18 km of groomed cross-country ski trails, excellent for both beginner and expert skiiers alike.

Next to the recreation hall are tennis courts. These courts are free to use and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
