Prairie Mineral Spas Gain World-Class Recognition

Spas of America recently announced the Top 100 Spas of 2014. This North American ranking takes place annually and is based on Spas of America’s consumer website behaviour. Two Saskatchewan spas landed spots on the Top 100 list. Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa at Manitou Beach placed 15th and Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa in Moose Jaw ranked 48th.

Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa

People travel from across western Canada and beyond to relax at Manitou Beach and soak in mineral-rich water that has therapeutic qualities and remarkable buoyancy – you simply cannot sink. Manitou Springs Resort and Mineral Spa is a year-round destination that offers services to pamper guests and send them home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Just down the road is Danceland, another magical place. It is famous for its horsehair-cushioned dance floor that puts spring into your dance steps. You will be on your feet all night and wanting more after the music stops.

Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa

In the heart of downtown Moose Jaw, Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa overlooks beautiful Crescent Park. The spa specializes in the complete getaway experience, combining peaceful and luxurious guest rooms with a professional treatment centre and a huge mineral pool. Temple Gardens is located across the street from Casino Moose Jaw and is within walking distance of many of Moose Jaw’s other famous tourist attractions, including the Tunnels of Moose Jaw and Yvette Moore Gallery.

In addition to these two resort spas, there are a host of day spas across the province. Be sure to include indulgence as part of your Saskatchewan vacation.
