International unique site interprets over 6,000 years of Northern Plains Indigenous peoples culture. Twenty-one pre-contact sites; four walking trails, medicine wheel, tipi rings, buffalo pound. Visitor Centre, art gallery, conference facility, gift shop, restaurant. Check out tipi sleepover packages,and day camps for children in July and August. May to August take in guided archaeological digs held Wednesday to Sunday at 12 noon and 3 p.m. During winter explore over 6 km of trail with free snowshoe rentals or register for free workshops on drum making, moccasin making and more.
