Quill Lakes Area Location: 250 sq km conservation area located N of Hwy 16 between the towns of Wynyard, Wadena, and Foam Lake.

Globally important bird area features Canada's largest saline lake and endangered species. Over one million waterfowl, shorebirds and songbirds. Numerous viewing areas with trails, two nature centres and a large interpretive centre with theatre. Saskatchewan Birding Trail anchor site.

Interpretive Centre in Wynyard provides information on nature viewing sites, history, and folklore of the lakes/area. Campsites adjacent to the interpretive centre. Maps and tourism brochures available.

The Foam Lake Visitor Centre & Nature Centre has tourist information, campsites, a golf driving range, heritage pioneer home, nature and walking trails and interpretive nature displays.
