The Saskatchewan Archaeological Society is a non-profit, membership-based organization that strives to create and foster a deeper understanding of archaeology and archaeological information. We encourage public support for the preservation of archaeological resources in Saskatchewan, Canada and world-wide.

Our goal is to educate the public about Saskatchewan human history, promote the conservation of archaeological heritage resources, work in partnership with other parties to the benefit of archaeological heritages and to assist others to be actively and responsibly involved in archaeological research, preservation and education efforts.
