Lac La Ronge Provincial Park Location: On the Churchill River in Lac La Ronge Provincial Park. Between the N shore of Iskwatikan Lake and the S shore of Nistowiak Lake. Access by air or boat.
Nistowiak Falls are one of the highest and most beautiful natural waterfalls in Saskatchewan. In the Cree language, Nistowiak means "meeting of the waters." Adventure to the falls and see where Lac La Ronge drains into the Churchill River. Jim's Camp is located at the foot of the waterfall, where the trail to the top of the 10 m high waterfall begins. The falls are only accessible via floatplane or boat. Adventurers can also access the falls by canoeing 20 km east from Stanley Mission on the Churchill River. Boat tours can be arranged with private operators from Stanley Mission.
