Fort Walsh National Historic Site Location: Fort Walsh National Historic Site, 55km SW of Maple Creek on Hwy 271.
Once again Fort Walsh will be hosting their annual Trades Day. The popular Victorian era military drills will be performed by members of the RCMP, the NWMP Commemorative Association, Southern Alberta Horse Artillery, local volunteers, and members of Parks Canada staff from Fort Wash, Battleford and Winnipeg. Recruits from RCMP Depot will also demonstrate the difference between the Victorian Drills and the modern, or Edwardian, drills that are used today.

Static displays include blacksmith, farrier, wheel wright, leather worker and gunsmith. Horse drawn wagon rides available throughout the day.
