Kôna - Wanuskewin Winter Festival is an immersive one-day event that features over 20 family-friendly activities. Celebrate Indigenous culture and spend the day exploring the park! Activities for the day include dogsled rides, kicksled tours, snowshoeing, voyageur games, log sawing, snare and trap setting, animal calls, puppet tales, storytelling, art gallery tours, artisan fair, three-person hand drum contest, Kahomani dance contest, fiddle and jigging contest and fire, tea and bannock making. Take in the Really, Really, Really Antique Road Show - archaeological artifact inquiry and identification with Dr. Ernie Walker. Learn the science and history behind the bones or tools you 've always wondered about. Bring in your items to learn more about their age, purpose and history!
