19km N of Moose Jaw on Hwy 2, 13km E on Hwy 202. 24km N of Hwy 1 via Hwy 301.

1,930 hectares, Recreation Park. Once used by early Indians to corral bison, Buffalo Pound is now famous for its captive herd that roams freely through the area's scenic rolling hills. Enjoy migrant waterfowl viewing at Nicolle Flats Interpretive Area and Marsh Boardwalk. Excellent hiking and biking trails and canoeing, fishing and kayaking. Vacationers have numerous options to set up camp, including Elmview, Maple Vale, Lakeside, Valley, Shady Lane and Trails End campgrounds.
