Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race

Race begins on Central Ave, Prince Albert.

Canada's premier mushing event. 18th annual dog sled race from Prince Albert, N to La Ronge, Grandmother's Bay, Stanley Mission on the Churchill River, then back to La Ronge. The 12-dog race is a 300-mile-plus (482.8km)) qualifier for the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest, while the eight-dog race now exceeds 200 miles (321.9km). Junior race and open race 74 miles (120km).
