The town of Rockglen is home to three hiking trails - the Burning Hills Trail, the Yost Wildlife Hike and the Effie Mattson Nature Walk and Archeological Centre.

The Burning Hills Trail begins about 2km S of Rockglen, and its high elevation provides breathtaking views of the local prairie landscape, making it a perfect site for photography sessions.
