Canada's Best Figure Skaters Will Take to the Ice in Saskatoon

The 2009 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships will be held at Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon January 14 – 18, 2009.

Hosted by Skate Canada, this event will feature the top figure skaters in the country as they compete for a spot on the World Team. Excitement will be high as the team selected at this event will compete at the World Championships to determine the number of Canadian competitors that will be sent to the 2010 Winter Olympics.

This elite figure skating competition will feature about 150 high caliber athletes in all four disciplines, including women’s, men’s, pairs and ice dance, for both the junior and senior levels. Tickets are currently on sale, and can be purchased through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone centres across Canada (306-938-7800 in Saskatoon), online at www.ticketmaster.ca or in person at the Credit Union Centre box office.
