February 2013 SaskSecrets

February can be a tough month, there’s no end to the winter weather in sight, but it’s a short month, meaning summer is closer than you think. We’re here to help you beat your winter blues and to get you out and about.

In this issue:

  • The Waskesiu Wilderness Region is an area for all seasons and winter is no exception. With plenty of trails, great restaurants, a variety of accommodations and fun events everyone is sure to have a good time.
  • Blues Festivals, the name says it all! Get bundled up and head to one of three festivals happening this month to warm your heart with some soulful tunes.
  • Sled dog teams have been training for months to get ready for the annual Canadian Challenge that starts in Prince Albert this month.
  • We may not have mountains, but that doesn't mean we don't have some great downhill skiing locations right here in Saskatchewan. If you're a boarder or skier, be sure to check them out.
  • And, since it's the month of love, we have an exciting feature package and fun trivia question to get you in the mood.
