July 2013 SaskSecrets

Finally summer, glorious summer has officially arrived. During these sweet summer months it is time to get outside and catch the big one, hit some balls, lie on the beach, hike a new trail, take in some events or drive a back road to see what treasures you can find.  Of course, if you’re having trouble deciding what to do, we’re here with a few suggestions:

  • Just two hours south of Regina lays the Big Muddy Badlands and it’s well worth the road trip.
  • Take part some cowboy culture by attending one of the many rodeos happening throughout the province this summer.
  • Highlighting the beautiful Tobin Lake area, the second annual Wounded Warriors Weekend is taking place in Nipawin in August.
  • Speaking of Tobin Lake, our feature package is a deluxe fishing package with Twin Marine.
  • Have a look at our trivia to find out which city is celebrating its centennial this year.
  • And, while you’re out this summer, keep in mind that our annual Snap It! The Great Saskatchewan Photo Contest is has started.
