Jazz Festival Attracts Grammy Winners
The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival brings great live music to three cities over the course of ten fun-filled days in June. Most events are happening in Saskatoon, which is where the 22nd annual festival kicks off on Friday, June 20 with a performance by the legendary Neville Brothers.
Other performers include Los Lobos, Sue Foley, Mobadass, Pink Martini, Molly Johnson, the John Scofield Trio, Ivana Santilli, Maceo Parker and more. The Festival wraps up on Sunday, June 29 with 4-time Grammy Award winner Robert Cray. Tickets for all performances are available at the festival box office, located in the Delta Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon.
In addition to ticketed events in Saskatoon, Regina and North Battleford, there are dozens of free live performances at venues around Saskatoon and Regina. Free stages can be found in Saskatoon at Kiwanis Park, Barney Kutz Pocket Park, and on Broadway Avenue, and in downtown Regina on the F.W. Hill Mall.
