Holiday Season Events Light Up Saskatchewan
The holiday season is fast approaching and many Saskatchewan cities, towns and communities are gearing up for this festive time of year. Visitors can enjoy collections of professionally decorated trees, elaborate light displays, Christmas-themed festivals and much more throughout the province during November and December.
In towns like Bredenbury and Carlyle, entire streets and neighbourhoods are transformed into winter wonderlands. Cities like Regina, Prince Albert and Saskatoon hold festivals that include beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and garlands. Plus, many of these events feature fun activities for the entire family like gingerbread villages, sleigh and carriage rides, caroling and visits from Santa.
