Escape to Forest House Wilderness Lodge
Discover the beauty of northern Saskatchewan. Nestled on the shore of a pristine unnamed lake you will find Forest House Wilderness Lodge. This eco-lodge is located approximately 150 km N of Lac La Ronge in the heart of the Canadian Shield.
To get there you have a couple of different transportation options; canoe or float plane in during the summer and ski or snowshoe in during the winter. Don’t let this trek scare you off, the journey to Forest House is half the fun!
What is an eco-lodge? An eco-lodge is a tourist accommodation facility designed to have minimal impact on the environment. At Forest House numerous sustainable living efforts are being made: from composting toilets and local gardens to the use of solar electricity.
While on vacation at Forest House your days can be as action-filled or relaxing as you wish. Waste your days away lounging on the deck enjoying the gorgeous view, take a dip in the lake or grab a canoe and start exploring. When your day comes to an end what else is there to do but unwind in the sauna?
