Canada’s Number One Brewpub
Saskatchewan’s climate, abundant fresh air and clean water makes it an exceptional area for malting barley, so it should come as no surprise that the province is also home to some great local beer and quality brewpubs.
In fact, writers at the travel website Vacay.ca recently named Canada’s top 24 brewpubs, and Regina’s Bushwakker came out on top.
It takes more than great beer to make Canada’s number one brewpub. Vacay.ca also noted Bushwakker’s community spirit and dedication to celebrating Saskatchewan. That dedication extends as far as 100% Saskatchewan-made music playing at all times. Bushwakker brews over 30 beers every year, and features a full pub-style menu, live music, tasting events, fund-raisers and more.
Saskatoon was also represented on Vacay.ca’s list: The Saskatoon Brewery/Factory Tap Pub notched the 23rd spot. Formerly the Rhino Room at the adjacent Earl’s, the Factory Tap pub showcases the products of the Saskatoon Brewery, including a choice selection of handcrafted artisanal beers.
