Celebration in Rider Nation
You’ve likely heard the whisperings and rumblings that something big is happening in Regina this month. Something to do with a cup that is grey and two national teams going against each other to win a championship of some kind? Well, those whispers and rumblings are true the 101 Grey Cup is happening in Regina on November 24 and we’re ready for the party.
The Celebration in Rider Nation starts early with business and home decoration competitions taking place now; and things will get really crazy beginning November 20 with the 101st Opening Ceremonies, Telus Street Festival, Mosaic Underground Tent, and the official opening of party central - Riderville.
The rest of the week features an array of activities that includes the Safeway Grey Cup Parade, Gibson’s Finest CFL Player Awards, Canadian Football Hall of Fame Party, Taste of the Nation, Cheer Extravaganza and concerts by the Barenaked Ladies, Hedley and Big & Rich.
On the big day have some fun at the Pre-Game Party with The Sheepdogs, hit the Countdown to Kick-Off or the Practice Field Party, all events are sure to be a good time if you’re going to the game or not.
The enthusiasm in the city is already electric and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Celebration in Rider Nation, since everyone knows, Saskatchewan knows how to throw a party!
