Canadian Women's Curling Championships
Canada’s top women curlers will meet head-to-head in Saskatchewan this winter. The 2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be held February 16-24, 2008, at the Brandt Centre in Regina. The Scotties brings together the champions of all of Canada’s provincial curling associations, as well as last year’s national champion, to decide who will represent Canada at the 2008 Ford World Women’s Curling Championships in Vernon, BC.
The theme of this year’s Tournament is Hearti Gras – combining the spirit of Saskatchewan friendliness with a week-long mardi gras-style celebration. Before, during and after the daily competition, the HeartStop Lounge will be home to the biggest Canadian curling party of the year.
Full event passes and mini-packs are on sale now. Full event passes guarantee the same great seat for all nine days, as well as the convenience of a short walk to the popular HeartStop Lounge. The Grand Opener Mini Pack gets you into the opening ceremonies and all five draws on opening weekend, while the Grand Champion Mini-Pack includes the last three round-robin draws, playoffs, semi-final and final.
