The provincial park seasonal camping program offers an opportunity to secure a campsite from park opening in mid-May to the end of September at select locations. There are 19 provincial parks offering seasonal camping with numbers varying from park to park. Seasonal campsites will be available online or through the call centre and reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Availability: Seasonal campsites are available for stays from May 20 (Thursday before Victoria Day) to September 30 in 2021, unless stated otherwise.

We offer several types of seasonal / long-term campsites:
Types of campsites
Full service campsites are defined campsites with electricity, water, and sewer hookup. Campers also have access to a service centre, firewood, fire pit and picnic table. Service centres contain showers, flush toilets, hot and cold running water, sinks, and electrical outlets.
Electric campsites are defined campsites with electricity and water hookup. Campers also have access to a service centre, firewood, fire pit and picnic table.
Non-electric campsites are defined campsites with access to a service centre, firewood, fire pit and picnic table. No electricity or water.
Economy campsites are rustic, non-electric campsites without one or more of the following: firewood; campsite furniture; water; or access to a service centre (closest one is more than a 10-minute drive away).

Reservation Fees and Charges
- Fees and penalties are based on the reservation type as outlined in Fees and Charges.
- Reservation charges, change and cancellation fees, and call centre surcharges are non-refundable. Under extenuating circumstances, campers may be eligible for a refund of camping fees if the request meets the grounds for refund.

Seasonal / Long-term Camping - Know Before You Go
- Check-in time: Your seasonal campsite must be occupied by 12 p.m. noon CST on June 24 or you will be considered a no-show and your reservation cancelled. - See our Check-in page
- Check-out time: Depart by 12 p.m. noon CST on the last day of the camping season for that specific provincial park.
- If you have an annual vehicle entry permit and a reservation, you can proceed directly to your campsite. You will be automatically checked in.
- If you reserved an accessible/barrier-free campsite, you must be able to provide and display a valid accessible parking permit upon check-in at the park.
- If you bring different equipment than what you reserved a site for, the park may not be able to honor your reservation.
- A maximum of two vehicles and one watercraft are permitted at each campsite at any time, providing the site will accommodate.
- Upon arrival at the park, seasonal campers will be required to confirm they are the permit holder on the reservation to ensure the correct person is checking into the seasonal campsite.
- Permit holders shall not rent, sell, sublet, assign or otherwise transfer their reserved seasonal campsite.
- The park administration office must be notified if the camping unit is going to be removed from the seasonal campsite for any time period. The park reserves the right to assign the campsite to another camper for the vacated period. Notice of 24-hours is required when returning to a seasonal campsite.
- All camping units must be movable upon 24-hour notice. At the end of the season, the camping unit must be removed from the campsite. Winter trailer storage is available at some locations.
- When vacating the campsite at the end of the season, the permittee must remove all personal property and restore the campsite to its original condition. If the campsite is not restored to its original condition, the ministry reserves the right to restore the campsite and charge the associated costs for restoration of the campsite.
- Failure to comply with the above conditions, The Parks Regulations, 1991 and The Parks Act may result in eviction and/or loss of the seasonal campsite for the season, or in following seasons..

Changes or Cancellations
- A Non-refundable reservation fee is charged per reservation: $12/online - $14/call centre
- Change and Cancellation penalties are based on the type of site reserved.
- Depending on when a cancellation or change is made, penalties may apply. These penalties are applied as forfeited. If you change your reservation to a different Saskatchewan Provincial Park - it is still considered a cancellation.

Seasonal Campsite: Change or Cancellation Penalties
- Changes to site can only be made prior to 11:59 a.m. CST Wednesday before Victoria Day. Changes will incur a $15 change fee.
- Cancelling on or after Thursday before Victoria Day will result in 10% of the seasonal rate being forfeited plus the regular nightly rate multiplied by the number of nights occupied regardless if camping unit is onsite.
- You are considered a no-show and automatically cancelled by the park if site is not occupied by June 24 prior to noon CST. No-shows result in the forfeit of 10% of the seasonal rate plus the regular nightly rate multiplied by the number of nights from Thursday before Victoria Day to June 24, regardless if camping unit is onsite.
Additional Info:
When vacating the campsite at the end of the season, the permit holder must remove all personal property and restore the campsite to its original condition. If the campsite is not restored to its original condition, the ministry reserves the right to restore the campsite and charge the associated costs for restoration of the campsite. Failure to comply with the above conditions and Parks Act and Regulations may result in eviction and/or loss of the seasonal campsite for the season, or in future seasons.
