Old Forts Trail is an internationally significant historic trail from Forts Benton and Assiniboine in Montana to Forts Walsh and Battleford in Saskatchewan. Once known as the Fort Benton Trail, this overland route was a major supply/communications corridor between Canada and the United States prior to 1883.
