Grasslands National Park Location: Grasslands National Park (West Block) and village of Val Marie.
The village of Val Marie and the Grasslands National Park proudly present the Grasslander Classic, a Canada 150 celebration like no other! Kick-off the weekend Friday evening in Val Marie with dinner, entertainment and guest speaker, hometown NHL hockey legend Bryan Trottier. Come listen to Bryan's many stories and see a collection of his trophies including the Calder, Hart, Art Ross, King Clancy and Conn Smythe.

Saturday enjoy a pancake breakfast, parade and main street outdoor market in Val Marie before heading out to the Frenchman Valley Campground for ball hockey tournament (team pre-registration required), kayaking, wagon rides, children's activity pavilion, bison facility tours, archery and more! Dance the afternoon away and into the evening at the outdoor concert with Guy and the Fellas, local band Navajo and Buckshot.

Sunday take in the farewell reception with Bryan Trottier. Get your autograph and picture with the legend.

To reserve a campsite at the Frenchman Valley Campground call 1-877-737-3783 or visit www.reservation.parkscanada.gc.ca. In the event that the campground is fully reserved, all people wishing to camp will be accommodated in the overflow areas. You can self-register for overflow camping upon arrival, reservations are not necessary.
