July 2011 SaskSecrets

It’s summertime in Saskatchewan! There’s so much to do and see, from exploring our great outdoors to experiencing our great events.

This month we are happy to announce the opening of the Boreal Trail, a new hiking trail located in Meadow Lake Provincial Park. This impressive 120km trail provides visitors with the opportunity to experience a portion of the vast forest that covers more than half of our province.

Plus, if you’re in Saskatchewan this summer there’s bound to be some great events happening wherever you are. The RCMP Sunset Ceremonies have begun for another year, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football season is officially underway, and the University of Regina is celebrating their centennial anniversary with a Homecoming in September.

Our travel correspondent Becky just returned from another road trip, our featured package is for all the golfers out there, and our trivia question is bound to stump you.
