Flaxcombe

Situated in a scenic valley, the small village of Flaxcombe is located approximately 30 km west of Kindersley along Hwy 7. The community's name was a combination of words, 'flax'  and 'combe'; thousands of flax was being grown on the newly-broken land in the district and combe was derived from an Old English word meaning valley. A small campground with electricity and water is located in the village along Highway 7.
