Hawood Inn | Aurora Weekend Package
Nov 1, 2024 to Nov 3, 2024
STARTING AT: $189
Fascinated by the night sky and want to capture it like never before? Join Hawood Inn in Prince Albert National Park for their Aurora Weekend Package with Tim Yaworski, the Living Sky Guy. With the sun approaching peak activity, the next few years will bring more frequent and powerful aurora displays. This aurora workshop package will equip you with the knowledge to understand and photograph the northern lights. The event kicks off Saturday morning with a continental breakfast and meet-and-greet, followed by the workshop. After a free afternoon to explore the park, you'll reconvene for an evening photo shoot. While aurora sightings can't be guaranteed, the experience will be memorable regardless of the weather. Open to photographers of all levels, the workshop covers gear from smartphones to DSLR/mirrorless cameras. A tripod is required.
The package includes a 2-night stay for November 1 and 2 in a lakeview room or a similar accommodation, one breakfast at the Hawood Inn, access to the workshop and a photo excursion. Upgrades and additional nights are available for an extra cost.
