Denare Beach

The northern village of Denare Beach is located on the northeast side of Amisk Lake along Hwy 167. The community changed its name from Amisk (or Beaver) to Denare Beach in the 1930s. The name came from the first two letters of Department of Natural Resources, the government department that was looking after the resort area at the time. While visiting the village take advantage of the many water-related activities the area has to offer.
