Named in honour of the English poet and historian Robert Southey, the community offers a number of attractions and facilities including the Southey and District Museum, Communiplex, Southey Curling Club, and Spray Park. The Southey Memorial Hall offers spaces for event hosting; contact town office for bookings. Camping available at Lions Park. Community is within easy driving distance to the year-round recreational opportunities of the Qu'Appelle Valley.
