Connect with the Land, Water and Sky

Nature looms large in Saskatchewan's far north. Yet thousands of years of human resilience have pushed through and made their indelible mark. Here you can fish the deep, cold waters, paddle rivers that cut through ancient rock, or just find the space to simply be. This zone is defined by deep, incredible stillness and powerful, ancient nature. Will you let it move you?

Astrophotography in Saskatchewan's Far North

Scott Aspinall canoed across fast-moving, frigid waters in the dark of the night above one of Saskatchewan's tallest waterfalls with one goal in mind: photographing the Milky Way core centered over Nistowiak Falls.

For over 40 years, Ric Driediger has been guiding novice and experienced canoeists along the Saskatchewan leg of the Churchill River.
