Vawn

The small community of Vawn lies approximately 50 km northwest of North Battleford on Hwy 26. The community is situated between the villages of Meota to the southeast and Edam to the northwest, with Jackfish Lake to the east and the North Saskatchewan River to the south and west. Its name is an acronym made from the names of the early area settlers Valliere, Anderson, Wagner and Nadon. Water recreation and parks are within easy driving distance from the community.
