Located in southern Saskatchewan, the rural community of Welwyn is located 17 km southeast of Rocanville or 33 km northeast of Moosomin. It is an agriculture-based community with potash mining becoming an integral part of the economy in the early 1970s. While visiting in the area, check out the Welwyn Centennial Regional Park, just 1.6 km north, and enjoy camping, hiking, swimming and fishing.
