Buchanan

Named after Robert Buchanan who established a ranch near Good Spirit Lake in 1888, the village of Buchanan still retains its agricultural roots. While close to lakes and excellent recreational facilities, the community also features an in-town campground, picnic areas and an interesting historic site - the Buchanan Mill Pond with remnants of an early 1900s Doukhobor flour mill.
