St. Gregor

The rural village of St. Gregor is situated halfway between Humboldt and Watson on Hwy 5. It is one of a number of communities that were established in what became known as St. Peter's Colony, a broad tract of land that stretched from Watson through Humboldt to the Cudworth​ area. At the time the communities were largely settled by German Catholics from the northwest and mid-west United States.
