Mervin

The community of Mervin received its name from the son of the first postmaster, Archie Gemmel.  Agriculture is the community's main industry, along with oil. Close proximity to Jackfish Lake, Turtle Lake and Brightsand Lake allows for an abundance of recreational opportunities.
