Climax is a friendly community at the junction of Highways 18 and 37, just 23 km north of the Canada-US border, half way between Old Man on his Back Prairie Heritage and Conservation Area to the west and Grasslands National Park to the east, and southeast of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. The village boasts many great amenities, and its beautiful scenery is perfect for photos.
Open in July and August, Climax Aquatic Centre features a large pool with diving boards and a paddling pool, and offers swimming lessons, aqua fitness, and public swimming sessions. Climax Skating Rink operates 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. in winter, weather permitting, A daily fee or season pass is required.
