South - Climax - Hwys 18, 37
Experience hospitality at its best in southern Saskatchewan. Climax is a friendly community at the junction of Highways 18 and 37, just 23 km north of the Canada-US border. Grasslands National Park is to the east and Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park is northwest. The village has an excellent museum and an Art & Culture Centre which hosts events throughout the year. Don't miss the long-running Canada Day parade held on July 1st each year. Great photo opps can be had at the "welcome sign," the elevators, the vintage gas station and the Whitemud River Hills.
