Kuroki

Central - Kuroki - Hwys 5, 38, 310

The small, active hamlet of Kuroki is located 22 km southeast of Wadena, at the junction of Hwys 5, 38 and 310. It is named after General Tamemoto Kuroki, who was head of the Japanese First Army during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-05. Local volunteers created and maintain a Japanese garden that provides a peaceful setting to stop and take a break.
