Southend

Situated at the south end of Reindeer Lake, the Northern Settlement of Southend is approximately 220 km northeast of La Ronge on Hwy 102 (an all-weather gravel road) and within the lands of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. Community services include nearby fishing camps, accommodation rental, seasonal air charter service and a provincial campground. A convenience store and gas bar, and a Northern Store carrying groceries and general merchandise are located in the community.
