The White Butte Trails Recreation Site, located just 20 minutes east of Regina, offers 12.7 km of well-maintained skate and classic cross-country ski trails. These trails are converted for hiking and cycling post-winter. The site also features a 5-km pet-friendly hiking trail available year-round, complete with two parking lots, warm-up shelters, and an outdoor pit toilet. In collaboration with the Regina Ski Club, the trails, including beginner and intermediate levels, are regularly groomed to ensure quality conditions. Snowshoeing is permitted off-trail, but access to cross-country ski trails by hikers and pets is restricted in winter. Trail condition updates are available on the Regina Ski Club website.
