York Lake Regional Park is a multi-use recreation park, complete with camping, playground facilities, outdoor fitness equipment, horseshoe pits, a 4-km, self-guided nature trail, ball diamonds, beach volleyball, water sports, canoe and kayak club, trap club including trap/skeet shooting and 3D archery, gun club including an indoor hand gun range and the Yorkton Navy League. The campground includes 31 daily sites with 30 amp electric and water, seven tenting sites, 12 seasonal sites with 30 amp electric, water and septic, 20 newly created seasonal sites with 50 amp electric, water and sewage, and a newly upgraded group site with electric and water. The York Lake Golf & Country Club offering golf and foot golf is located 5 km northwest of the park gate on the outskirts of Yorkton.​
