St. Laurent Shrine (Our Lady of Lourdes)
Along the South Saskatchewan River. 12 km directly E of Duck Lake on grid road; alternate road at statue landmark on Hwy 11, approximately 5 km NE of Duck Lake.
Inspired by the shrine at Lourdes, France, the St. Laurent Shrine was erected in 1879 through the efforts of Fr. Fourmond and Brother Piquet. With a scenic view of the South Saskatchewan River, and a short distance from Duck Lake, the property contains a log church which was constructed in 1995 and a museum/information centre.
