Saskatchewan River Forks Recreation Site

45 km E of Prince Albert, approximately 13 km off secondary Hwy 302. Road is rough in places and weather dependant. Signs direct visitors to site.
 Scenic picnic area overlooking the confluence of the North and South Saskatchewan Rivers. Historic markers depict the importance of the area as a key transportation point for the fur trade. Tables, washroom and firepit are provided for picnicking. The trail from the recreation site to the river bank is closed due to erosion and instability. The site is accessible from late spring to fall depending on road conditions.
