McLaren Lake Regional Park features a seasonal campground suitable for all ages, complete with 30 amp service at each site. The park is equipped with a variety of recreational facilities including horseshoe pits, a basketball hoop, tetherball, a playground, and a concession stand. It also supports water-based activities like boating and swimming. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed.
The park celebrates annual events such as Canada Day, which includes children's activities and fireworks. Additionally, on the second Saturday in July, it hosts a music festival coupled with a slow-pitch tournament.
