Oro Lake Park

​Oro Lake Park is a great location for reunions. It is a limited-services park located in a prairie setting just north of Ormiston. Camping is available at the park on a first-come, first-served basis. Power is available with plugs located on power poles throughout the campsites; 15 amp sites are located on the northwest side of the lake and 30 amp sites are located on the south side of the lake. Seasonal campsites are also available. No drinking water or sewage disposal is available. The park's lake does not have fish, but on the south end it does have a dock for launching boats, canoes and kayaks and a beach for swimming. A playground is situated on the north side of the lake. During the summer, the park is the site of the annual ranch rodeo, team roping events and the annual sports day.
