Wynyard Regional Park

Open from the May long weekend to Labour Day, the Wynyard Regional Park is located at the west entrance of Wynyard. It is a quiet, well-treed park that is an ideal getaway for nature-lovers and those travelling along Highway 16/Yellowhead Highway. The aerated reservoir behind the old CPR dam supports a healthy population of rainbow trout and allows row boats, canoes and kayaks.
