The Prince of Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre in Assiniboia serves as a hub for a variety of events, including performing arts and trade shows. It features multiple rental spaces such as an auditorium, suitable for meetings and weddings. The venue also houses the Olympia Movie Theatre, which screens current movies on weekends at 7 p.m., and the Assiniboia and District Public Library. Additional facilities include Southeast Regional College, CKHD Radio 98.1 FM, professional services, and a four-sheet curling arena with lounge areas.
