Eatonia Heritage Park
S side of Hwy 21 at the S end of Main St, Eatonia.
Step back in time as you explore Eatonia Heritage Park and the history it chronicles, and enjoy a leisurely day with the onsite picnic area. This quiet well-treed park features a collection of notable structures including a 1917 Eaton Catalogue House, a CN railway caboose, and the original 1924 CNR railway station. Additional attractions include a former hospital building and a shed with a CPR railroad motor car.
Visitors can delve into the past with exhibits across the railway station's main floor, which showcases railway artifacts and a 1950s-era station agent’s living quarters. The second floor presents a diverse range of displays from medical history to local memorabilia, including sports and Aboriginal stone tools. A unique Cold War bunker and other settler artifacts are on view in the basement. Tours of the railway caboose, CNR motor car, and Eaton Catalogue House offer a deeper insight into local history.
